Opening Nite, March 31st 4pm!

I've just returned from a trip out west and after enjoying the glamour of Las Vegas (and coming back a winner!), the natural beauty of The Grand Canyon, and the awe inspiring sight of The Hoover Dam, I am full of ideas and enthusiasm for a new season at Papa Boo's!

I've designed a new stage and dance area that promises to improve visibility for the band and fans alike. The dance floor will be made smoother, safer and a bit bigger if I can squeeze it in.

We are working to improve the skills and training of our Management and Staff so you will have a more completely satisfying experience when you visit. And, as always, we continue with our intense water management plan so we can keep the Coke flowing and the bathrooms flushing. Who would ever guess that a place on the shores of Buckeye Lake would have water problems?! (Read: Don't Stop The Carnival by Herman Wouk) Crazy!

This years entertainment is packed full of classic acts from past seasons like Enchanted, Terry Davidson & The Gears, These Guys Live, The Olde Cellar Band and John Schwab along with many, many others, old and new. Id like to mention especially 2 big "gets" this year; a return performance by The Naked Karate Girls and for the first time at Papa Boo's, Chris Logsdon!  It's still up in the air about WNCI and The Morning Zoo but I will keep you posted.

You should know that it just wont be the weekends that you and your friends can come out and enjoy Papa Boo's. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm-9pm, during the summer, we'll have Live Entertainment and Drink N Dinner specials. So if the big crowds aren't your style, then make a date with your Papa thru the week and we'll take care of you real good. Also, it goes without saying that Dan N Randy will be back on Wednesdays at 7pm, beginning March 31st, for Papa Boo's famous Trivia Nite. Man, I love those guys! There's not a finer duo on the lake and we're so lucky to have them! Come early or not at all. Really. It's that popular.

I guess that's about it. I've done enough puffing and bragging, it's time to get to work and make The Dream A Reality. See you all real soon!
